The Golden State Warriors were able to tie their series with the Los Angeles Lakers after a big win on Wednesday night. Golden State preserved home court with a blowout win to even the series at one.
Draymond Green was instrumental in the win, nearly posting a triple-double as the Warriors ran away from the Lakers, winning by 27 points on their home floor.
After the game, Green was interviewed by NBA analyst and Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas. One of the game’s more cerebral players, Green isn’t usually stumped by a question from the media.
That wasn’t the case with Thomas.
Isiah Thomas: "All of you have still found a way to be thirsty and hungry to win. How have you managed to do that and stay insatiable about winning?"
Draymond Green: "Isiah, that's a big word and I'm not sure I know what that word means—" ????pic.twitter.com/piVKryOV5Y

Thomas asked Green about the Warriors core consisting of himself, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
“All of you have still found a way to be thirsty and hungry to win,” Thomas said. “How have you managed to do that and stay insatiable about winning?”
“Isiah, that’s a big word and I’m not sure I know what that word means,” Green responded.
Green may not have known the meaning of insatiable in the moment, but it’s a word that perfectly encapsulates his desire and will to win on the court.
He’s the kind of player who will do anything to win, even at the cost of his own stats. Sometimes, it’s even at a literal cost due to the amount of technical fouls he’s been given in his career.
