They didn’t have to do Adam Sandler like this…

During ESPN’s broadcast of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, the network showed two photos of the “Happy Gilmore” actor, one from 2008 and one present day.

“ESPN randomly decided to violate Adam Sandler before heading to commercial break,” a user tweeted.

Needless to say the graphic began to go viral.

“What did Adam Sandler do to deserve this?” a fan asked.

“Oh man why,” another asked.

“The price you pay for dragging the corpse of Rob Schnieder’s career well past its expiration date.”

“This feels violent and aggressive,” another user commented.

“When Adam Sandler’s mom said, ‘They’re all gonna laugh at you!’ Is what she meant?”

“There was no need for ESPN to do this,” another replied. “No need or reason.”

“Hey he looks pretty good for this being a 15 year jump and considering the last three years we’ve all been through has aged us all at least 5 years. I still think he’s handsome.”

Hard out here being a celebrity.
