The Game 5 matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals had much on the line for both teams.
The Lakers needed a win to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in three years, and the Warriors were on the brink of elimination, needing a victory to keep their season alive.
The Warriors got just that with the 121-106 victory, forcing a Game 6 in Los Angeles. According to Warner Bros Sports’ social media account, the matchup also brought massive ratings.
