It was something else to see Patrick Beverley troll LeBron James last Sunday.
During the late stages of the Bulls-Lakers game, Beverley made the “too small” gesture at James after he hit a shot on him that basically iced the game. It dropped the Lakers to 37-38 as they’re fighting for their playoff lives.
They took on the Bulls again on Wednesday night and this time, it was the Lakers who beat the Bulls, 121-110. It got them back to .500 as they’re still in a playoff spot.
During the game, Austin Reaves got some good old-fashioned payback on Beverley when he did the “too small” gesture right back to him. James saw it and absolutely loved it.
“AR always got my back. Always. Even though he loved Kobe back in the day more than me. I forgive him,” James said to the media.

James was second on the team in scoring with 25 points as he helped the Lakers get back to .500. Reaves finished with 19 points, which was good for third on the team in scoring.
Beverley will have to be careful about not poking the bear in the future.
