The Los Angeles Lakers made quick and easy work of the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 6 to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals in a 125-85 win. But LeBron James was in no mood for pleasantries after the game.
Following the game, LeBron James – who was already done for the day – made a beeline for the tunnel and went right to the locker room. Most notably, he did not stick around long enough to shake hands with any of the Grizzlies players.
The Lakers-Grizzlies series was a contentious one, though mostly due to the incredible amount of trash talking, specifically from Grizzlies star Dillon Brooks. Brooks called out LeBron on multiple occasions and LeBron made him pay for it dearly.
The clip has gone viral with over 400,000 views since last night. Even some of LeBron’s haters couldn’t help but not blame him for choosing not to exchange pleasantries with the Grizzlies afterwards.

“I’m no big fan of Lebron but you can’t blame him…Dillon Bricks talked a lot of smack and was playing pretty dirty throughout the series. Lebron let his game do the talking and sent the Miseries back home,” one user replied.
“Why shake hands with the all mouth team…… with dillon brooks and arrogant morant and company….” wrote another.
For the Grizzlies, it’s a disappointing end to a season that had so much promise. For LeBron and the Lakers, it’s on to the next series against the winner of Game 7 between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors.
