On Friday night, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers sent the Memphis Grizzlies packing with a 40-point Game 6 win at Crypto.com Arena. With this win, the No. 7 seed Lakers move past the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.
There was no shortage of trash talk going on during this series, particularly from the Grizzlies’ side. But, The King got the last laugh against this young Memphis team.
LeBron took to Instagram with a telling post following last night’s win.
“If you ever see me fighting in the forest with a Grizzly bear, HELP THE BEAR,” he wrote.

Earlier in the series, Grizzlies starter Dillon Brooks called LeBron “old” and said he doesn’t respect anyone until they drop 40 points against him. While LeBron didn’t drop 40 in this series, last night’s close-out win came by exactly 40 points.
The Lakers will face off against the winner of Warriors-Kings in the second round.
