LiAngelo Ball is going to be a father.
The former high school basketball star and brother of Lonzo and LaMelo Ball announced that he and his partner, Nikki Mudarris, are expecting a child.
Ball is currently playing for the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA’s G League as he looks to advance to the NBA like his brothers. The trio first rose to prominence – as did their father – as high school prep stars. Clips from their games at Chino Hills High School would often go viral, and their father LaVar served as a hype man.
The Ball brothers planned to attend UCLA in succession of one another, with the oldest brother Lonzo playing one season for the Bruins before being taken with the No. 2 pick in the 2017 Draft.
Unfortunately, off court issues complicated things and led to LiAngelo and younger brother LaMelo playing in Lithuania.
LaMelo Ball would go on to play in Australia’s NBL before being drafted with the No. 3 overall pick in 2020.
Before landing in the G League, LiAngelo also played in the short-lived JBA, a league created for high school and junior college players by his father LaVar. He won Finals MVP while playing for the Los Angeles Ballers.
