Look: Martha Stewart and Machine Gun Kelly Share Sweet Embrace During SI Swimsuit Magazine Launch Party

Martha Stewart is once again proving that age is just a number when it comes to friendship. The 2023 SI Swimsuit cover star cozied up with Machine Gun Kelly at the magazine’s launch party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City on May 18.

The rapper attended the event to support his fiancé, fellow cover star Megan Fox. The couple recently rekindled their romance and took a trip to Hawai’i last month after sparking breakup rumors in February.

Stewart, 81, was photographed by Ruven Afanador in the Dominican Republic earlier this year for the annual publication. The TV personality and the 33-year-old “my ex’s best friend” singer, born Colson Baker, shared a sweet embrace inside the event after walking the red carpet at different times.

The entrepreneur wore a gorgeous sparkly gold Jenny Packham dress, while Baker opted for a cream suit with subtle pinstripes and a white shirt underneath.

Stewart, who has famously been friends with rapper Snoop Dogg since 2008 after he made an appearance on her cooking show and was the first guest on The Martha Stewart Podcast, is a firm believer that relationships are truly based on what’s inside and how well you get along, rather than fundamental similarities like age.

“I have friends who are 90. I have friends who are 20. That is a very, very good way to look at life because age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship, or in terms of success. But [rather] what people do, how people think, how people are—that’s what’s important,” she told SI Swimsuit. “Legacy is what you’re doing right now, tomorrow, next week, the week after. Keep it going for as long as you can because it might be better than anything you’ve done before.”
