Memphis Grizzlies starter Dillon Brooks continues to further his reputation as one of the NBA’s biggest villains.
During an away matchup agains the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Brooks saved a loose ball from going out of bounds and fell into the first row. While getting up, he shoved a camera person to the ground.
On Friday, the NBA fined Brooks $35,000 for the incident.
Brooks is tied with Draymond Green and Luka Doncic for the most technical fouls so far this season with 16. He was not issued a technical foul for this incident with the cameraman.
The 27-year-old guard/forward has already been suspended on two different occasions this year: once for an altercation with Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell and another time for getting his 16th tech.
Brooks and the Grizzlies — without their star point guard Ja Morant — will face off against the San Antonio Spurs later this evening.
