Could retirement already be on the horizon for Milwaukee Bucks guard Jrue Holiday?
It sure sounds like it.
While appearing on the Point Forward podcast hosted by four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala and former NBA player Evan Turner, Holiday said he feels very strongly about retiring in two seasons when his current contract expires.
Per the @pointforward podcast, Jrue Holiday plans to retire when his contract is up in 2 years.

Holiday, 32, signed a four-year, $134 million deal with the Bucks in 2021. With two years left on his deal, he’s scheduled to make $34.9 million next season and $37.3 million in 2024 (a player option).
It’s not a bad thing Holiday is thinking about retirement despite playing at a high-level still. It’s smart to think ahead because NBA careers don’t last forever.
Holiday averaged 19.3 points, 7.4 assists, 5.1 rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and 38 percent from long distance.
Holiday, a 2009 first-round pick, is regarded as one of the game’s best defenders. He’s a two-time All-Star and NBA champion.
