If the Celtics get swept this Tuesday by the Heat, there’s a legitimate chance the front office reshapes the roster in the offseason.
According to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, there seems to be some tension inside Boston’s locker room. Apparently certain players are tired of “fake liking each other.”
“I’ve had a source tell me in the past week that this Celtics team feels like a group that’s tired of fake liking each other,” O’Connor said.
The Celtics have been leaning on the trio of Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart since the 2017-18 season. Maybe it’s time to shake things up.
That being said, NBA fans are skeptical of this report.

The Celtics certainly have the talent to win a championship. They proved that last season by competing with the Warriors.
At the end of the day though, the Celtics don’t strive for playoff appearances. If this core can’t get the job done, changes will be made.
