Joel Embiid had a pretty dirty play on Nic Claxton during Thursday evening’s 76ers-Nets playoff game.

Claxton finished a basket and stepped over Embiid after staring him down and the latter didn’t like that. Embiid kicked Claxton after he stepped over him.

Here’s a replay:

Fans are stunned that Embiid wasn’t ejected since Draymond Green got a similar ejection a couple of nights ago when he stomped on Damontis Sabonis.

“What’s the difference between this and Draymond? Contact? Embiid not getting ejected just cause he misses is completely the wrong execution on this call,” another tweet read.

Embiid only received a Flagrant I for this play, which is a little inconsistent after what Draymond Green did earlier this week.

The NBA could suspend him for the next game in the series but that news won’t come until potentially tomorrow if the league is even considering it. ‘

Game 3 of the 76ers-Nets series can be seen on TNT.
