The Los Angeles Lakers are now the odds favorite to win this year’s NBA title, according to PointsBetUSA.
The LA squad were a long-shot option to win the Finals for much of the 2022-23 season, but their recent postseason hot streak now has them primed as the betting favorite to get the job done.
The Lakers are currently listed at +325.

After stealing a win at the Chase Center in Game 1, the Lakers held their home-court advantage and went up 3-1 with a win over the Warriors on Monday night. LeBron James and his rolling squad now have a shot to close things out with a Game 6 win on Wednesday.
The next leading betting favorite is Philadelphia (+350), which took a 3-2 series lead over the Boston Celtics with a Game 5 win in the TD Garden on Tuesday night. The Celtics now hold the No. 3 spot with +400 odds, tied with the Denver Nuggets.
The Nuggets could improve those odds with a Game 5 home win over the Phoenix Suns (+600) this evening.
