Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole turned in an overall stellar performance in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
Poole scored 21 points off the bench on 7-of-15 shooting and 6-of-11 from three-point range. However, after the game, most people wanted to talk about his much-criticized long-range miss in the closing seconds of Golden State’s 117-112 loss.
Amazingly, Poole’s off-target shot was almost forecasted by rapper/Lakers fan Snoop Dogg on ESPN before Game 1.
“We gonna be probably doubling Steph [Curry]and somebody else is gonna be open. Jordan Poole, keep shooting I like the way you been missin’ brother,” Snoop Dogg said.

The scenario Snoop described is exactly how the end of Game 1 went. Pretty uncanny.
Poole shot just 26-for-77 from the field in the Warriors’ seven-game first-round series against the Sacramento Kings. Hopefully, last night was a positive sign of things to come, final miss notwithstanding.
Game 2 between the Lakers and Warriors is set for tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET.
