Instead of applauding their team for a fun 2022-23 season, Knicks fans decided to take out their frustration on Julius Randle.

After the Knicks were eliminated from the playoffs on Friday night, several fans were seen ripping down a Julius Randle poster outside of Madison Square Garden.

Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there. The fans then stomped on Randle’s poster and some even kicked it.

As you’d expect, the sports world ripped the Knicks’ fan base for behaving in this manner.

“This is pathetic,” one fan said.

“WE DON’T CLAIM THEM! 20 yr old punks! This is overboard,” a Knicks fan tweeted.

“Full grown men too… What a bunch of weirdos,” another fan wrote.

Randle had an exceptional regular season with the Knicks, averaging 25.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. His production in the postseason, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing.

That being said, Randle’s struggles don’t warrant this kind of behavior.
