Look: Sports World Not Happy With Colin Cowherd On Monday

Colin Cowherd came down hard on Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic on Monday.

Cowherd told co-host Jason Timpf on his The Volume podcast that he’s worried Luka, who missed the playoffs this season, is turning into Carmelo Anthony.

“We’re falling in love with this great, hyper-offensive player. Moody, difficult, needs ball, won’t defend. Is he going to end up Carmelo Anthony?” Cowherd asked.

Cowherd elicited plenty of reaction from those who disagreed with this take.

“Luka 24. It’s going to be so funny when a motivated Luka comes back next year and goes ballistic,” said one fan.

“Saving this one,” another fan added.

“Some people just can’t talk hoops,” another person commented.

“Gonna be a long off season full of a lot of these kinda takes lol,” a fourth man said.

“They really went after Luka hard,” a fifth chimed in.

“Melo didn’t miss the playoffs his first 11 years,” someone else pointed out, though it was actually his first 10 seasons.
