Lakers star Anthony Davis left Game 5 against the Warriors early after taking an inadvertent elbow to the head from Kevon Looney.

Davis was carted to the Lakers’ training room in a wheelchair, casting some doubt around his status for Game 6.

With Game 6 set for this Friday, basketball fans around the country are sending their thoughts and prayers to Davis.

“Prayers up for AD. Hope he gets better,” one fan said.

“Prayers up for AD smh,” another fan wrote.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham provided an update on Davis during Wednesday night’s postgame press conference.

“Obviously everyone saw he took a shot to the head, but we just checked on him,” Ham said, via ESPN. “He seems to be doing really good already. That’s just where he’s at. That’s the status of it right now.”

Davis left the Chase Center without any assistance, per reports.

The Lakers will update Davis’ status in the coming hours.
