DeRozan’s daughter could be seen on the broadcast, loudly screaming every time a Raptors players takes a free throw. The Raptors haven’t shot the ball well from the free throw line tonight, so it sounds like her strategy is working.

DeRozan is facing his former team in the Play-In Tournament. He was drafted by the Raptors in 2009 and played for the team until 2018, when he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs for Kawhi Leonard. The Raptors won the NBA championship one year after DeRozan was traded.
DeRozan has made his return to Toronto before, but these are the highest stakes under which he’s faced his old team.
His daughter seems to be doing all she can to help his team come away with a win.
