As the Lakers and Warriors prepare to square off in the second round, Klay Thompson admitted that he doesn’t expect to have his father in his corner this week.
Asked by the media who he believes his father, Mychal, would be rooting for, the Golden State guard jokingly admitted that it might be his “employer.”
If I had to guess, probably his employer. I have so many great memories with him watching the Lakers. Watching Kobe, and Shaq and Pau and the rest of the gang. I’m just really excited to try to stick it to the team I grew up rooting for.
