Longtime ESPN host Michael Wilbon announced on Sunday that he’s banned Ja Morant’s Nike shoes from his house.

Wilbon, speaking in reaction to Morant’s latest gun video, revealed that he will not let his son wear the shoes of the Memphis Grizzlies star point guard.

“What’s going to happen now? Nike gonna pull that shoe? Is Powerade gonna pull that drink? I know in my house, I told [my son] you can’t have the shoe… Our money as a family is not going toward that.”

That’s quite the announcement from Wilbon.

“Wilbon a 60 somethin y/o man from Chicago why y’all thought he would react in any other manner is baffling,” one fan wrote.

“Smh disappointed,” one fan added.

“It’s funny to hear commentators like Wilbon finally say “fake gangsta theme” publicly b/c we all KNOW Ja isn’t the guy he’s portraying himself to be on social media and none of these NBA players are for that matter. Ja wasn’t lacking home training he was lacking ass whooping’s,” one fan added.

What do you make of Wilbon’s comments?
