During Tuesday night’s edition of Inside the NBA, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal made fun of ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith.
After seeing a photo of Celtics guard Derrick White at the podium for his postgame press conference, Barkley jokingly said, “Stephen A. does First Take in the morning and then plays for the Celtics. That dude must be tired.”
On Wednesday morning’s edition of Get Up, Smith responded to this joke.
“The first thing I did was text them,” Smith said. “I said I’ll get both of y’all.”
Smith then addressed the comparison to White.
“Derrick White is a very, very good player. I wish him all the best. But I don’t think my hairline looks like that. I think it looks a little better than that.”
Imma get y’all @SHAQ and Charles!
And I KNOW you aren’t talking @Foxworth24!! pic.twitter.com/Lp9adlW6h2

It’s highly unlikely White is concerned about the jokes being made about his hairline.
White had an exceptional performance in Game 2 against the Hawks, scoring 26 points in a 119-106 victory. We’ll see if he can have a similar outing in Game 3.
