Draymond Green has come off the bench since returning from a Game 3 suspension. However, the Golden State Warriors reverted to the status quo in Sunday’s Game 7 against the Sacramento Kings.
Following three games off the bench, Green started the win-or-go-home contest at Golden 1 Center. Jordan Poole went back to the bench.
The Warriors are going back to their traditional starting lineup for Game 7.

The NBA suspended Green one game for stepping on the chest of Domantas Sabonis in Game 2. He’s since come off huge in an unfamiliar role, tallying 35 points, 24 assists, 18 rebounds, seven steals, and four blocks in the last three games.
Green’s season-high 21 points propelled Golden State to a pivotal Game 5 win Wednesday at Sacramento. However, the Kings returned the favor with a Game 6 road victory to extend the tightly contested first-round series.
Kerr said last week that Green approached him with the idea to play off the bench. Green called his benching “the right thing to do.”
If the Warriors lose, Sunday could mark Green’s final game with the Warriors. The four-time champion is a free agent this offseason.
ABC is televising the Game 7 bout between the Warriors and Kings.
