Everyone knows the grand jewel and expected No. 1 overall pick of the upcoming 2023 NBA Draft.
French basketball star Victor Wembanyama is among the most anticipated top prospects since Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James entered the draft in 2003.
According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the 19-year-old is not expected to attend the pre-draft next week in Chicago.
“Victor Wembanyama is indeed NOT on the list of the 78 expected attendees for next week’s Chicago pre-draft combine as just released by the NBA. The presumptive No. 1 overall pick will still be in Europe when he learns Tuesday night who wins the right to draft him in June.”
