The next generation is making the older generation shed tears right now.
Recently, a few kids were asked who the real “Melo” was when it comes to basketball and quite a few did not pick Carmelo Anthony.
In fact, nine of the 12 kids that were asked in the video said they associate “Melo” with LaMelo Ball, who plays for the Charlotte Hornets.

It’s understandable that these kids weren’t that old when Carmelo Anthony was in his prime but this is hard to watch. Anthony is one of the best players of this generation and will be in the Hall of Fame in the next few years.
He just retired on Monday after a 19-year career that saw him play for the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers.
During his career, he averaged 22.5 points, six rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
Hopefully, these kids brush up on their NBA history at some point.
