Louise Redknapp looks glum as musical run ends

Louise Redknapp looked a little glum as she got ready for one of her final 9 To 5 performances.

The singer has been starring as Violet in the musical version of the hit 1980 film starring Dolly Parton, but her run in the theatre show is sadly coming to an end.

She’ll play Violet for the last time on December 4, with Claire Sweeney taking over the role when the tour resumes in January.

In a clip filmed by her co-star Vivian Panka, who plays Judy, Louise was seen getting ready for the show and looking a little down.

Pulling her costume on, she could be seen in the reflection in the mirror as Vivian sat filming herself.

And while Louise, 47, looked a bit down in the dumps, her frown was soon turned upside down.

“You’re in my selfie,” Vivian told her.

Realising she was on camera, Louise smiled and pulled a funny face at her pal.

“gonna miss this one so much,” Vivian captioned the clip, tagging Louise.

Louise starred in the show on London’s West End before taking it on tour across the UK.

Her run in the show also saw her make an appearance on BBC Children In Need, performing a special version of the show’s title song with RuPaul’s Drag Race UK stars Veronica Green, Tia Kofi and Divina de Campo.

It’s been a tough time for Louise, who has just seen her ex-husband Jamie Redknapp remarry and welcome a baby.

Jamie and the Swedish model tied the knot in October and welcomed their first baby together last month.

They named their son Raphael Anders, reportedly to ensure their child has a connection to his Swedish roots.

Frida also revealed the couple’s cute nickname for the little one when she announced the birth, writing on Instagram : “Our Viking has arrived. Feeling beyond blessed to have welcomed this precious little boy, Raphael Anders Redknapp, to our family.

“A big thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Chelsea Westminister Hospital.”

Jamie posted: “Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp, we’re so in love, mum is doing so well too. We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough.

“So excited for him to meet my boys.”

Jamie already shared sons Charley, 17, and Beau, 13, with Louise, and Frida shares three sons and one daughter with her former husband Jonathan Lourie.
