Holidaymakers can start looking forward to a break from as little as £81pp to a host of Brit-favourite destinations.

These include Portugal, Spain, the Canary Islands, Turkey and Greece.

If you’re looking for a last-minute trip away this month, you can bag a trip to Portugal which is discounted by 37 per cent.

A week-long stay at a hotel in Albufeira, Portugal, including flights from Edinburgh is available from £80.13pp.

Spend a week at an all-inclusive hotel in Egypt in January with return flights from Gatwick for £364.47pp – at a discount of 32 per cent.

Enjoy seven nights at an all-inclusive hotel on the Greek island of Crete in October with return flights from Gatwick for £546.29pp – which has been discounted by 35 per cent.

Or if you fancy a long-haul trip, you can spend a week at a hotel in Dubai in June, including flights from Heathrow and breakfast every day, from £534.67 – at a discount of 36 per cent.

While Love Holiday trips are ATOL protected, meaning your money is protected if the firm goes bust, this doesn’t cover any changes to travel rules.

Love Holidays is no longer an ABTA member, having quit last year.

This means that holidays are unlikely to be covered if the rules change due to Covid, such as new quarantine rules, or if the destinations is put onto the red list.

Brits are advised to take out travel insurance which protects against Covid changes, as well as pay on credit cards for extra protection if the trip cannot go ahead.

Credit card payments between £100 and £30,000 are covered under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.

Holiday bookings have surged since the government announced Covid testing requirements were being eased.
