Love Island fans lash out at ‘embarrassing’ Ella as she confronts Tyrique

Love Island fans were not amused on Friday night as model Ella Thomas called out footballer Tyrique Hyde for flirting with Kady McDermott in front of her.

The former couple have been at loggerheads ever since she brought back fellow model Ouzy See from Casa Amor.

Viewers were not impressed with what they saw as her double standard saying she had a “cheek” to confront him.

@tawana_morvan seethed on Twitter: “Ella getting mad at Kady for Tyreke’s crap is kinda crazy lol.”

@sophiemcneill93 agreed writing: “Ella doesn’t have a leg to stand on so she needs to stop. Tyrique is being petty, I feel bad for Kady.”

This sentiment was echoed by @iloveyou4156: “No but why is Ella mad like what? She decided to couple with ouzy and now tys talking to someone else he can’t???? Like what.” (sic)

@yongginhiding commented: “The girls are actually giving bad advice because Ella really is embarrassing herself. You brought Ouzy back as insurance it backfired hold the L.” (sic)

@Angelz012 said: “Ella is out of order she is biting to Ty’s actions playing right into his hands.. she got a cheek startin on him. God she is getting so annoying now.” (sic)

Meanwhile @Sur_cex tweeted: “Ella is so stupid for trying to blame kady for entertaining TY,how is that her business??” (sic)

The drama came about as Tyrique started a flirtation with reality star Kady.

He was turning on the charm and was stroking her hair by the pool. Upon noticing this Ella stormed over to the pair asking “is this a thing?”, branding him “petty” before slamming Kady for ‘entertaining’ his flirtations.

Tyrique ended things with Ella after he remained loyal during Casa Amore but Ella hooked up with Ouzy.

Speaking to the boys after the recouplings, he told them he had a feeling Ella would do this as he called himself an idiot for opening up to her.

Meanwhile, Ella was emotional as she told the girls: “I know both of us do have strong feelings for each other, Ouzy is a lovely guy and I was true to myself.

“I was open and got to know him. But, coming back and seeing Ty stood there by himself, knowing that I’ve hurt him, it’s just not nice.”
