Love Island is returning to Spain for its tenth series as more singletons hope to find romance in the sunshine.

The popular dating programme will see Maya Jama return as host following the winter edition of the hit ITV2 programme, while Scots comedian Iain Stirling will continue to narrate each episode.

The winter series, which was filmed in South Africa, launched with 3.4 million viewers and was a hit with streamers on ITVX – with 161 million streams recorded on the platform to date.

The ninth series was won by Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan, who also shared a prize fund of £50,000.

The pair beat fellow couples Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, and Samie Elishi and Tom Clare, who finished in second and third place respectively.

However the tenth series will return to the Spanish island of Majorca where a host of new singletons will search for love.

Launching on Monday, June 5, the popular dating series will also see the return of spin off show Aftersun, also hosted by Jama, while the official Love Island podcast, Love Island: The Morning After, will be hosted by Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polak.
