Love Island’s Andre and Charlotte admits Mitchel is ‘hardest one to live with’

Dumper Love Island contestants André Furtado and Charlotte Sumner appeared on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast today, where they spilt the beans on who they felt was the “hardest islander to live with”.

The pair unanimously agreed that gas engineer Mitchel Taylor, 26, was the toughest housemate to get along with, with Charlotte going on to explain more about his supposed “stroppy” behaviour.

André, 21, and Charlotte, 30, joined podcast hosts Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack to chat about their time in the Love Island villa.

At one point, Sam hit the former ITV contestants with a particularly challenging question.

“This is just going to sound so toxic,” he qualified, “But who was the hardest person to live with in that villa?”

“Ooh the hardest person to live with,” André contemplated. “I’ve got to say Mitch.”

“I’ve got to say Mitch as well, I would say Mitch,” Charlotte agreed.

“He’s quite stroppy at times,” she continued. “When I was going in and out of the door he was huffing at me.

“I had a sore throat and then he was huffing, and then he was like: ‘Turn that light off!’

“I was like [I’m going to the] medic, I’ve got a sore throat. And then the next day, he was like: ‘Who was that running around the room?’ or something.

“So I was like, ‘I just had a sore throat so I went to see the medic.’ And he was like ‘Aah’.”

Last night, things reached boiling point in the Love Island villa, as the existing pairs were asked to vote for what they believed to be the two least compatible couples.

The vote left Mitchel and his partner Leah Taylor vulnerable, as well as Sammy Root and his partner Jess Harding, who had engaged in an explosive bust-up just one day prior.

However, show host Maya Jama had an unexpectedly welcome surprise for the four islanders, revealing that two new bombshells would be waiting to date them tonight.

Love Island: The Morning After is available to listen to on streaming platforms now.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
