Francesca Allen’s fiancé has been revealed as a businessman – who has previously been linked to another reality star.
The Love Island alum, 26, announced her engagement on Instagram this week, sharing photos from the proposal on social media, including showcasing her dazzling ring.
She told her 497,000 followers on the platform that it was “the best Christmas present” she could have asked for, adding: “I’m marrying my best friend. I still can’t believe it.”
And although Francesca – who appeared on the ITV2 reality series in 2019 – didn’t tag her new fiancé in the recent post, his identity has been uncovered.

His identity was teased by the former islander last month, when she posted photos of them together and declared her love for him – though he again wasn’t tagged or named.
Amid the engagement, her sister Claudia Allen congratulated the couple with her own post, in which she wrote: “You’re going to be the most beautiful bride in the world wide world and Edd of course the best brother in law.”
A similar post was shared by HLD Management, who represent Francesca, which read: “Wishing you and Ed eternal happiness and love.” She replied with heart emojis.

According to the Daily Mail, her fiancé is businessman Ed Crossan – who is reportedly the vice chairman of waste management company Powerday.
The outlet reports that she had been friends with Ed for years before becoming romantically involved and it stated that he was previously linked to TOWIE ‘s Amber Turner, 28.
Francesca holidayed in Marbella with his family in 2019 – shortly after she was on Love Island, in the series won by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea.
Amber commented on the engagement post this week, alongside other former islanders including Molly-Mae Hague, Teddy Soares and Liberty Poole.
