LSG vs CSK Dream11 prediction, IPL 2023: Fantasy picks, captain and vice-captain choices

Both the sides lost their respective home matches as the LSG lost their last game less than 48 hours ago against Royal Challengers Bangalore following a batting collapse in a low-scoring chase. MS Dhoni’s CSK, on the other hand, lost to Punjab Kings in a high-scoring thriller at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Injury udpates LSG is likely to be without their captain KL Rahul, who suffered a thigh injury. CSK have a longer injury list in Ben Stokes, Sisanda Magala, Deepak Chahar and Simarjeet Singh are unavailable for the game.

If KL Rahul doesn’t play, LSG may look at Quinton de Kock as a replacement to strengthen batting order. The Ekhana pitch has been tricky to bat on as the likes of Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran have struggled to score runs at the venue. Among batters, Devon Conway has been scoring runs consistently and has five half centuries to his name in last six innings. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube have been scoring runs as well. However, Ambati Rayudu has struggle to score runs this IPL.
