Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) finished fourth with 16 points in 14 matches. LSG have won their last three matches, while MI defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by eight wickets in their last outing.

Nicholas Pooran: The West Indies is the third-highest run-scorer for LSG in the season so far. In 14 matches so far, he has scored 358 runs at an average of 32.54 and a strike rate of 173.78.
In the match against Mumbai Indians (MI) last week, Pooran scored unbeaten eight runs off as many balls. The last three innings have seen the southpaw score 58, 8* and 44*. Pooran has played six matches against Mumbai Indians and scored 116 runs at an average of 29 and a strike rate of 161.11.
Marcus Stoinis: The hard-hitting Australia blasted unbeaten 89 runs off 47 deliveries and helped LSG win the match by five runs last week against Mumbai Indians. The innings consisted of four boundaries and eight sixes. LSG would expect a similar innings from Stoinis again against the five-time champions.
Stoinis is the leading run-scorer for LSG in the IPL 2023. He has scored 368 runs in 14 matches at an average of 30.66 and a strike rate of 150.20. Stoinis has turned up against Mumbai Indians (MI) on 13 occasions and scored 210 runs at an average of 23.33 and a strike rate of 151.07.
Rohit Sharma: The Mumbai Indians (MI) hasn’t been in the best of forms but he is a big match player and could emerge as the biggest threat for LSG. He scored 37 off 25 in his last outing against LSG.
In the must-win last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), he scored match-winning 56 off 37 balls. In 14 IPL 2023 matches so far, Rohit has scored 313 runs at an average of 22.35 and a strike rate of 134.33. Rohit has played three matches against LSG and scored 82 runs at an average of 27.33 and a strike rate of 130.15.
In Chennai, Rohit has scored 353 runs in 14 matches at an average of 27.15 and a strike rate of 124.29.
Suryakumar Yadav: The right-hand batter would be aiming to score big once again for his team. Suryakumar Yadav is the leading run-scorer for his team at the moment. He has scored 511 runs in 14 matches at an average of 42.58 and a strike rate of 185.14.
The last five innings have seen Suryakumar score 25*, 7, 103*, 83 and 26. The seven runs came against LSG last week. Overall, he has played nine matches in Chennai and scored 267 runs at an average of 38.14 and a strike rate of 127.75. He has played 17 matches against CSK and scored 340 runs at an average of 26.15 and a strike rate of 117.24.
