Maccas brings out new SWIMWEAR range in Australia

Maccas brings out new SWIMWEAR range in Australia

A Macca’s run on a summer day in your swimmers is a classic Aussie experience.

And now, we can combine the two.

McDonald’s Australia has collaborated with Aussie brand Budgy Smuggler, to serve up a line of limited-edition swimwear.

The range features three exclusive prints, inspired by the world-famous burgers and fries.

“We are so excited to bring together two great Aussie icons to create the ultimate summer uniform,” McDonald’s Australia senior brand manager Liz Whitbread said.

Both men and women can get their hands on the gear in time for the rest of summer.

Styles include the much loved “Smugglers” and bucket hats.

As well as, women’s one-piece and two-piece “Smuggelettes.”

“Whether it’s lounging on one of Australia’s iconic beaches or dipping in and out of the pool, this summer is all about doing things we love with people we love.” Ms Whitbread said.

Those wanting to show off their love of a Maccas at the pool will need to shell out from $55 to $90, with the range available from Saturday.

The announcement is the latest move in Macca’s summer campaign, following the viral TimTam McFlurry.

And it’s not the first time the fast-food giant has cooked up a cool collaboration.

Back in July partnering with Australian brand Peter Alexander to bring out a range of pyjamas.

The collection included 10 pieces, paying tribute to our fave childhood Macca’s characters like Ronald McDonald and The Hamburgler.

The golden arches have been in Australia for 50 years, with the first store opening in Sydney in 1971.

Now there are more than 1,000 stores across the country.
