The pink hair is attention-grabbing enough, but Madonna took it one step further and bleached her brows to the point that they’re nearly invisible against her skin. In a few videos, she’s penciled them in in a skinny, ’30s-meets-’90s style, but in another video, we see the pop icon stripped down with minimal makeup, the aforementioned bleached brows, and her pink hair. It’s a striking change from her usual dark, full brows, but bleached brows have been all over the runways, so clearly the Material Girl found inspiration for her own statement-making look.

Madonna has been playing with pink tones for a few weeks now. In late August, the musician shared a handful of pictures where she posed in a bathroom with her hair dyed bright bubblegum pink, then changed it up and went red and now appears to be back to pink once more. Hey, we get it — the pastel color is so much fun to play with and it’s easy to customize with more dye or by fading it out to a barely-there color.
We’re feeling the “Material Girl” pink on Madge, but if we know anything about the queen of transformation, it probably won’t stick around for long.
