A MAJOR airline is hiring cabin crew members in Scotland – and will be visiting Glasgow as part of its search.
Emirates is inviting applicants along to an open day at the city’s Maldron Hotel on June 7.
To be considered for employment, applicants must meet the carrier’s strict criteria.
You will need to be fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage), a natural team player with a personality that shines, at least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high, and
able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements.
Prospective applicants must also have at least one year of hospitality or customer service experience, a minimum of high school (Grade 12) education, and no visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform.
The recruitment day will be split into three parts: an introduction, an assessment and a final interview.


It is recommended you bring digital copies of your CV, valid ID or passport and any education certificates to speed up the process.
Successful applicants will undergo an intense seven-and-a-half weeks of training in areas such as safety and emergency, medical, security and hospitality.
All Emirates crew are based in the carrier’s facility in Dubai.
The open day will take place at the Maldron Hotel on Renfrew Street in Glasgow from 9am.
