Borussia Dortmund have told Erling Haaland to decide on his next destination following his latest comments, with Manchester City keen to bring in the striker in the summer.

Manchester City opened up a 13 point gap between themselves and Chelsea at the top of the Premier League on Saturday.
The win further strengthened their hold on the league and it’s remarkable to see what this team has achieved without a recognised striker in it.
That could all change next season if they get their priority signing in Erling Haaland, who has provided a major update regarding his future.
And there could be further strengthening at the back if they are able to secure the services of Jules Kounde.
Should Man City go all in for Erling Haaland in the summer? Let us know in the comments below!
Haaland to make up his mind
Much of the discourse around Erling Haaland has been teams being rumoured about signing him and Borussia Dortmund dismissing all reports as to him leaving.
Bu after Dortmund won on Friday night, Haaland spoke about his future and revealed the club are putting pressure on him to clear up his next move.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has added extra information, saying the striker prefers a move to Spain to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
“He prefers La Liga – he likes Liga a lot. So, I think in his thoughts, La Liga is the perfect tournament, now, to play in. Or Bundesliga, where he is currently playing.
“So it is not sure that he’ll leave in the summer. Borussia Dortmund thinks that for his career, another year there should be the right step.
“I don’t know what Mino Raiola thinks about it. I think Raiola wants to get him out of Borussia Dortmund because after two years there it is important for him to have another challenge. So I think he will try to find the right solution for him.”
Kounde is a target
In Ruben Dias, John Stones and Nathan Ake, City have three centre backs all more than capable of starting and excelling in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
El Nacional claim that Pep Guardiola’s side made a bid for the French defender in 2020 but saw their efforts rebuffed and settled for Dias, who went on to have a tremendous debut season for the club.
Two years later, the report adds that one of Ake or Stones may be sacrificed to secure their long-term target in Kounde and prevent rivals Chelsea from acquiring the centreback.
Having seen their €60 million turned down, City are preparing to increase their offer to €80m to get the deal over the line.
Doyle seeks regular minutes
While the focus is on incomings at the Etihad Stadium, one or two players will depart and that’s the case with youngster Tommy Doyle.
Currently on loan with German side SV Hamburg, Doyle has struggled to see the pitch and BBC Sport claim that City plan on recalling the midfielder before shipping him back out to Cardiff City.
Furthe reports from Wales Online claim that both Blackpool and Barnsley are interested in bringing the 20-year-old to their clubs as they finish the second-half of the season strongly.
