Manchester City would want a fee in excess of £50million from Chelsea and a replacement lined up in order to let Nathan Ake go.

The Blues require defenders this summer after the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen on free transfers.

The likes of Matthijs De Ligt of Juventus and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde have been linked with Chelsea as Tuchel looks to bolster his options at the back.

Meanwhile, the Blues have reportedly opened talks with City over duo Raheem Sterling and Ake.

Ake spent seven years on Chelsea’s books before leaving to join Bournemouth in 2017 and then eventually Pep Guardiola’s side in 2020.

According to the Manchester Evening News, City will not allow Ake to depart without having a replacement lined up.

The report states it would take more than £50m for City to weigh up bringing in a new defender to replace Ake.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign Raphinha in a deal worth £55m.

But both Barcelona and Arsenal also remain interested in the 25-year-old winger.
