Manchester City will be overwhelming favourites to continue their perfect start to their Champions League group stage campaign when they host Danish champions FC Copenhagen on matchday three.

Fresh their manic 6-3 derby day victory over Manchester United, City will be confident of building on victories against Sevilla and Dortmund with another three points in Manchester.

Meanwhile, the visitors have picked up one point from their first two group fixtures – their opening day 3-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund was followed with a goalless draw at home to Sevilla.

Manchester City’s match with Copenhagen takes place today (October 5).

Kick-off will be 8pm at the Etihad stadium.

The match will be shown live on BT Sport 3.

Coverage of the match will get underway from 7.15pm.
