Man kicked off plane for profane, homophobic rant loses job

A man, who TMZ has now identified as Zachary Easterly, has been fired from his job as a chemical engineer with GlaxoSmithKline. after he was kicked off a plane for a drunken, obscenity-laced freakout on Tuesday night.

In a video of the incident exclusively obtained by TMZ, the man is seen shouting at passengers and flight attendants on a flight from Philadelphia to Dallas, telling them — maybe sarcastically? — he’s being kicked off for being racist while he looks for his black bag, which he adds is “a better bag than most of y’all can afford.”

He also admits he’s drunk, starts yelling homophobic slurs, calling everyone on the flight “liberal f——,” and say he hopes their plane crashes before announcing what his job is, who he works for and claiming he’s about to quit.

GSK, a pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, may have beat him to the punch.

The company told TMZ: “We immediately conducted an investigation and as of Thursday, he is no longer employed at GSK. The person’s remarks were reprehensible and do not reflect our company culture.”
