On Friday, three individuals were detained for breaking Covid-19 guidelines while going all-out to celebrate their pet dog’s birthday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
A pet-parent from Ahmadabad spent Rs.7 lakhs for his pet dog, Abby’s second birthday party. There was a huge party for which a huge venue was booked. There were loads of people invited for the party and the family also hired a Gujarati singer for a special performance.
Flowers, balloons, pictures, and cutouts of the pet were used to decorate the venue. The Patel’s family spent Rs.7 lakh on a party venue, a singer, inviting friends, cutting a cake, and playing garba. The venue had a huge stage on which the singers could perform.
Since a footage of this birthday bash at the Madhuvan Green Party Plot began to do rounds on social media, officers received a tip and raided the party. At 11 p.m., the police invaded the celebration that was still going on in full swing even past the COVID-19 curfew time.
The fun at the expensive dog party on Friday night concluded with the arrest of pet-parent’s brothers and another family friend for breaking the Covid-19 standards.
