United expected great things from the striker when he touched down from Monaco back in the summer transfer window of 2015.

He initially hit the ground running, scoring on his debut against Liverpool and netting 17 goals across all competitions.

Martial has often struggled for consistency, however, which is why United are eyeing an upgrade.
