Manchester United have set their price to sell Fred this summer amid interest from Premier League side Fulham.

The Brazil international has just one year left on his deal with United, who could sell in order to avoid seeing the midfielder leave on a free transfer next year.

Erik ten Hag is also looking to bolster his midfield options in the summer transfer window – which would see Fred’s opportunities limited next season if he stays.

According to The Telegraph, United have now slapped a £20m price tag on Fred as they consider offloading the 30-year-old.

Fulham are strongly interested in a deal and despite not being willing to pay that much, the west Londoners are hoping that a compromise can be reached.

Fred was pulled aside for a chat with Fulham manager Marco Silva outside Old Trafford on the final day of the Premier League season in May.

Fred has made 213 appearances for United since he joined the Red Devils in 2018 from Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal worth £47m.

Meanwhile, United have put Scott McTominay up for sale and he has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

However, he is regarded as less of a priority to sell than Fred and United may decide to keep him for now as he is still under contract until 2025.

United are also hoping to sell Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Eric Bailly and Alex Telles with the club willing to listen to offers for Anthony Elanga too.
