Manchester United takeover updates are continuing to pour in, eight months after the Glazers first confirmed they were open to a potential sale. With the family yet to make a decision, however, it’s unclear what the future holds for the Red Devils. Sheikh Jassim is looking to seize 100 per cent control, while Sir Jim Ratcliffe is seeking just over 50 per cent.
The Glazers first confirmed they were open to selling United back in November.
However, fast-forward to now, and they’re yet to indicate their preference.
The family have ruled the roost at Old Trafford ever since 2005 – and many fans want to see the back of them after 18 years of controversial rule.
The Glazers have, typically, not informed United supporters of their intentions and that’s also causing problems for manager Erik ten Hag.
