Sheikh Jassim is ready to green-light a huge transfer spending spree if his takeover bid is successful to help Manchester United secure marquee signings.
That’s according to GiveMeSport, who claim the Qatari takeover bidder wants the biggest names arriving at the club, including Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
Two names that have been linked with United are Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae and Bayer Leverkusen starlet Jeremie Frimpong, which may not exactly satisfy his wishes for big-name arrivals.
But the pair are thought to be on Erik ten Hag’s transfer list this summer, pointing to a possible clash in transfer policy.
However, signing Harry Kane from Tottenham would surely help the two find some common ground and solve Ten Hag’s striker problems after no goals in three Premier League games.
