Manchester United need to move players on if they are to add more signings to Erik ten Hag’s squad before the summer transfer deadline. But Mason Greenwood will reportedly return to first-team training soon to bolster the Dutchman’s ranks, with an announcement plan set.
United made a quick start to their summer business, bringing three major signings through the door before the season commenced.
Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund strengthen Ten Hag’s starting line-up at a combined £179million.
But after Dean Henderson, Harry Maguire, and Scott McTominay’s exits fell through, United are left needing to offload more if they want to make more signings.
There are expected to be further exits from Old Trafford, though, including Eric Bailly and Donny van de Beek.
