City will go to Asia for their 2023/24 preseason tour where they will play three games in South Korea. It will be their first visit to South Korea since 1976. After facing local opponents on July 23rd City’s next two fixtures will be of utmost test.
They will face Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich in their second game on July 26th while their final game will be against Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
Ahead of another contesting season, these games will provide the side with much-needed energy and competition to bring back the tempo.
The core of Guardiola’s team will remain intact for the tour, but as per reports, there will be several high-profile departures, and City will work quickly to replace them to maintain their control over the domestic and European stage.
However, the pre-season can provide a couple of young starlets like Cole Palmer, Rico Lewis, etc to impress and cement their spot in the first-team line-up ahead of the new season.
