Marcus Rashford was completely unaware of a mix-up which led to his McLaren 765 Long Tail sports car having number plates registered to a Skoda, according to reports.
A personalised number plate was reportedly delivered to the Manchester United star, but was wrongly registered to a Skoda Citigo, based on DVLA checks.
The Mirror reported that the star had been unaware of the issue, with the supplier having been at fault for the mistake.
‘It was a problem with the supplier and nothing to do with Marcus,’ an Old Trafford source said.
‘It was mistake which he was completely unaware of.’

Rashford had been pictured arrived to training at Carrington last month in the new sports car.
The £280,000 white 4-litre McLaren sports car is one of just 765 built.
A Skoda Citigo, by comparison, is priced between £8,365 to £11,910. The correct number plates are now reportedly being delivered for the McLaren.
The mix-up was discovered when local photographers searched the plate details on the DVLA’s system.
Along with the McLaren – which has a top speed of 205mph – the striker was reported to have bought a £390,000 Black Badge Cullinan Rolls Royce.
Earlier this month, Rashford was fined and handed six points on his driver’s licence after admitting to speeding in Manchester last year.
The incident occurred in May in Manchester city centre, with the Red Devils forward exceeding the 20mph speed limit.
Rashford was driving his £670,000 Mercedes G VRM at the time, which he sold last month.

Rashford is enjoying a superb season for Manchester United, with the forward scoring 21 goals
On the pitch, the 25-year-old has enjoyed a stunning campaign for Manchester United.
Rashford scored the Red Devils opening goal in their 2-0 win over Leeds on Sunday.
The effort saw Rashford score his 12th Premier League goal of the season and 21st in all competitions.
The forward is currently enjoying a run of 13 goals in his last 15 matches.
Rashford looks certain to have his most prolific season for United, with the forward only one goal off the tally of 22 he scored in the 2019 to 2020 campaign.
