A MAN has revealed the clever way to save money on your next passport photo – and people have been left stunned by how simple it is.
Posting the video on TikTok, he revealed how to use the photo booths without having to pay for them – so your picture won’t get rejected.
In the video, he sits in the passport photo booth seat with his friend standing outside.
However, instead of using the service, his friend holds up his phone by the screen to get the same angle as the camera.
He then counts down and takes the photos of his friend looking ahead, with the white background and lighting making the passport photos valid.
More than 762k people have liked the video, with people left stunned by the simple trick.

One person wrote: “It pains me that I’ve never thought of this myself.”
Another agreed: “It’s soo damn simple, but too smart for me to think of apparently.”
Lots of people said they could have saved money this way, with passport photos often being expensive.
Someone said: “Well that’s £12.50 I could have saved.”
It’s not the first time someone has revealed how they saved money when needing a new photograph for their passport.

Louise Warren was exasperated when the government’s passport website repeatedly rejected snaps of her youngest daughter Lyza Beau Ellis, 6, because of the lighting and shadows in her home.
After 10 failed attempts, the 41-year-old remembered her old, white fridge was on the street ready for collection.
An American woman shared her hack to ensure she got a glamorous passport photo.
