And now, she’s given us Riviera Barbie with perhaps our favourite ensemble yet. After flying straight from Beverly Hills for a press day back in her native, Australia, Margot hit up Sydney’s Bondi Beach to create an homage to ’50s riviera chic that Grace Kelly would be proud of.
Alongside a corset-top Breton-stripe black and white mini dress from favourite ’90s designer Herve Leger (who made the Bandage dress big news), Margot accessorised with a pair of white retro cat-eye sunglasses and simple gold hoops.
But the hair and makeup is what levelled-up the whole look as the Wolf On Wall Street actress called on her long-time hair stylist, Bryce Scarlett, to create the cutest ‘50s pinup ponytail. It featured a an old Hollywood S-waved shape and a sweet, curled, side-swooped fringe. Meanwhile, her makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, complemented her sunkissed skin with a ’50s orange glossy lip. We’re taking notes for the next time we’re headed to the coast.

Later in the day, Margot swapped out her sunnies for a pair of old-school white acetate oval specs and a vintage-shape halterneck strawberry-print mini dress.

Given the OG Barbie was created in the ‘50s, we’re loving how Margot Robbie is paying tribute while taking doll into the future.
