Maroon 5 bassist Sam Farrar is selling his home in Sherman Oaks’ sought-after Longridge Estates neighborhood for just shy of $2 million.
The house hits the market Monday, Feb. 13.
With a 2,272-square-foot floor plan, the traditional single-story home embellished with updates has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a spacious great room under vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and skylights. Records show Farrar and his wife, Stephanie, bought it for $1.659 million in July 2020.
The house sits on a nearly quarter-acre lot with a terraced backyard featuring a large pool and a covered patio.
A brick staircase leads up to the front door.
Inside, a grand Concord-style stone fireplace fills the dining area. The neighboring eat-in kitchen, which has been extensively remodeled, boasts stainless steel appliances, Carrara countertops and a large center island with seating.
A sliding barn door separates the office from the bathroom.
The primary suite has a large shower, dual sinks, a walk-in closet and Carrara marble throughout, and windows overlook the pool.
Other key features include an electric vehicle charger in the newly refinished garage at the top of the sloped driveway.
Debbie Edwards and Davina O’Donnell of the Nesting L.A. Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties share the listing.
Farrar, 44, officially joined the Grammy Award-winning group in 2016 after a decade as a frequent collaborator. Maroon 5 will kick off a Dolby Live at Park MGM residency beginning March 24, with select dates through Aug. 12.
